They were part of the Silent Generation.

Mom and Dad grew older quietly and unnoticed.

Their children were consumed with building their own futures, never realizing how quickly time was slipping away. And before anyone was ready, the years were gone, leaving behind cherished memories and a home that had witnessed it all.

In reflection, that home, the place where love was planted and generations were raised, should have been their place of comfort and security in their final chapter. Instead of their transition to a small assisted living location.

Like so many seniors, small challenges and unseen needs made those years more fragile than they had to be.
